How the time window is measured
The window is measured from the confirmed departure time, not from midnight. Early-morning departures (for example a 4:00 AM hot air balloon pickup) measure from that pickup time. We confirm the exact pickup time in writing before any payment so you can count the window clearly.
Reschedule rules
Reschedule 96+ hours ahead: no fee, subject to availability on the new date. The new date is confirmed via the same WhatsApp thread; payment carries over without re-charging.
Reschedule 72+ hours ahead: subject to availability, may carry a small admin fee (typically AED 50 to 100) for substantial date changes. Same-week reschedules are usually processed without fee.
Reschedule under 24 hours: not generally possible without applying the cancellation policy above. Discretion is applied for genuine emergencies (medical, flight delay, severe weather affecting your travel) on a case-by-case basis with evidence.
Weather-driven and operator-initiated cancellation
Hot air balloon flights only run when surface winds and visibility support safe operation. The pilot makes the call by approximately 03:00 on the morning of the flight; guests are notified via WhatsApp. A reschedule to the next available slot is offered, or a refund per the cancellation policy if a reschedule is not workable for the guest.
Equipment-driven cancellation is rare but possible if a fleet shortage occurs on the day. The operator notifies the guest as soon as possible and offers a reschedule or an alternative tour (for example shifting from a 4-seater to a 2-seater buggy, or from a quad to a safari combo) at the adjusted price.
Road closure or external operational issue: refund or reschedule at the guest's preference, communicated as soon as the issue is identified.
What we do not say
We do not use the phrases "free cancellation", "full refund", "guaranteed refund", "damage waiver" or "non-refundable" because those phrases either over-promise or under-promise the actual policy. The exact wording above is the policy that governs your booking.
